Snake Math

Snake Math
Snake Math is the classic snake game with a problem attached: a calculation appears at the top and the board fills with possible answers. Steering to the correct one grows the snake and speeds it up. It asks for arithmetic and spatial planning at the same time, which is why it suits slightly older children.
How to play
Use the arrow keys, or swipe on a touchscreen, to steer. Eat the correct answer to score and grow. Hitting a wall, your own tail or a wrong answer ends the game.
A tip for grown-ups
The speed increase is the point — it is what turns "can work it out" into "knows it". If the game keeps ending early, that is a signal to spend a few sessions on the plain addition or subtraction game first.
